For sale is my Land Rover Series 2a 7 seater 200di soft top restoration on a galvanised chassis and galvanised bulkhead. This has just had a restoration completed by a local specialist to a super high standard but now up for sale due to retirement.
It is very original apart from the engine that is a super upgrade to the underpowered and uneconomical 2. 25 units. This will achieve around 30mpg making this seriously usable day to day.
Has the parabolic springs making the ride so much more pleasant.
Starts and runs without fault but not surprising due to the extensive rebuild with mostly new parts. If it wasn’t new it was reconditioned resulting in this near immaculate example.
It was dismantled then each part sanded to metal metal then painstakingly prepped and painted in pastel green, my favourite colour. A new sand hood and stick compliments the beautiful bodywork. This would look good on anyone’s driveway even or as a wedding car or show car.

As you can see this has had tens of thousands spent in this restoration purely to make it last and was to be my forever Landy.
I have priced this to sell quickly at £24995. It has had more than this spent on it not to mention the £10k cost price to buy it and not seen the road yet.
This series 2a will cost the new owner very little. No car tax, no mot just a very small to pay for insurance.
