Historic motorbike registered ASI and Targa Oro with only one owner and documents in order, in working order and completely original. It has passed the scheduled overhaul even if it is currently to be repeated for the biennial expiry date. Unobtainable piece on the market.
Restoration carried out by an expert and custodian of the historical memory of Gitan of Caorso Piacenza. Replaced only a crankcase, saddle and exhaust with original stock parts . The entire restoration process was documented . The bike since 1960 has always been garaged and never left unattended. Owned by my grandfather, I decided to proceed with the restoration for sentimental reasons and now I feel the time has come to sell it to someone who can show it to the public or simply use it as a unique piece. I have invested time and money to preserve a piece of my personal but also Italian industrial history. Gitan, although unknown to many, was an interesting reality of the post World War II motorbike scene.
