Ford Escort Mk1 2 door 1973 unfinished project. I have owned her for 11 years and have spent a lots of money on her over the years. V5 in my name and tag plates with the car.
I bought her to fully restore and as you can see most of the major work has been done. Fitted with new Mexico steel wings, front panel, cross member, both rad supports, slam panel, front top suspension plates, under wing pans, AVO pan sides, front suspension reinforcements, bulkhead side panels, complete floor, outer sills, A post panels, chassis sections, wheel well and tank well panels, rear lower corner panels, 1600 XF engine fully reconditioned, 4 speed gearbox fully reconditioned.
Has a unique Webasto sliding fabric roof, all glass present inc front and rear screens with rubbers. Genuine set of 13" RS alloys fully refurbished, Mexico 2 door front and rear seats in excellent condition, lights all present, all suspension parts present, Prop shaft and rear axle present, steering parts present inc genuine RS steering wheel, brake servo present, hand brake present but will need new brake pipes and hand brake cable.
6 Dial clock and ignition lock present, boot lock present, door cards and quarter cards present. Carpet and roof lining required as missing.
All auxiliary components present including webber carbs, fuel tank, wiring looms, cooling system inc radiator, heater blower, pipes, water pump, and fan. Will need new exhaust system and front and rear bumpers.
Under floor has been red oxide painted. Ford badges and original mexico chrome badges present.

Unfortunate family circumstances have changed and I no longer have the time to finish this excellent project. These MK1's once done properly are worth a fortune.
