We bought this car last year with 24k miles on it, and almost new condition. It's since done more miles this year than it's ever done in a year and it's been great, but it needs looking after better than I do!
It runs like a 2 year old car, the only issues being the air-con compressor has just stopped working, the rear wiper works most of the time but sometimes intermittent, and the rear arches, along with a couple of other patches are needing attention to keep them in keeping with the rest of the car, most of which is like a 2 year old car too.
I won't say it's showroom, there are a few little imperfections, but it wouldn't take much work to make it almost so.
The interior is the same, it could pass for a couple of years old, almost immaculate.
Being the Ghia, it's got electric front windows, electric mirrors, heated front windscreen, wood effect dash, alloy wheels and air conditioning, which has been working, but you could feel the compressor straining a bit lately, then given up. A simple service and it should be fine again, nothing is corroded or anything.
The 1. 25 Zetec is well known as a great engine, and this one could pass as new, no issues with it whatsoever, it purrs nicely!
Not much MOT left but I'll put a new one on before a sale. Last year it went through with no advisories and a very impressed tester, commenting on it being mint!
