1990 Saab 900

For sale is my 1990 Saab 900 Turbo T16S – G533 RGP – full pressure turbo – 175BHP. Abbott Racing.
Rare 2 door notch-back model. I believe only 200 were made worldwide and these are the most sought-after of all the 900 classic Saabs.

Car has receipts for around £18k spent over the last 2 years – all work done by Abbott Racing who are local to me in Essex and know the car well.
Engine was removed and fully rebuilt.
Head off, new timing chain, all gaskets and seals replaced, all new silicone hoses fitted, uprated turbo dump valve, new clutch pressure pipe, all belts replaced, thermostat replaced, engine mounts replaced, all bushes now poly bushed.
Fully serviced – January 25
Abbot Racing stainless steel exhaust - full system.
Engine bay / front chassis specialist welded – drive tunnels and the engine bay stone chipped then coated with Lanoguard.
Vehicle is free of rust on door bottoms, wheel arches, boot floor - everything has been repaired and treated with stone chip as needed.
Rear axle removed, shot-blasted, powder coated.
Abbott Racing springs, Koni dampers and braided brake hoses all round. Powerflex bushes fitted. New discs, callipers and pads all round.
Painted rocker cover. Fuel tank straps replaced.
New headlight reflectors / rear light clusters fitted.
Window seals replaced. New window motors fitted.
New battery.
5 x 16” Super aero deep dish alloy wheels – including the spare - are in top condition – shod with Nexun tyres – less than 5000 miles on them.
New windscreen and drivers door glass – all scratch free.
Roof professionally painted. All other paintwork is in VGC – apart from the O/ S rear quarter which could do with a flat and polish to bring it up a bit.
Full leather interior – no rips, tears, holes or repairs
From a non-smoking home.
Headlining is clean and not sagging.
DAB radio and hands-free kit. Original Blaupunkt speakers.
Everything works – apart from the headlight wipers and heated seats.
Dash is cracked – I’ve tried to find a replacement, but they are rare in an uncracked state.
Car comes with a spare boot lid, 2 spare windscreens, passenger door glass, box of spares/ bits.
Runs, drives and pulls as it should. Sounds amazing with the AR exhaust.
Starts on the button and is a real head turner.
100% reliable in my ownership and has ever missed a beat. The perfect everyday classic.
Interior is quiet and very comfortable.
It’s an awesome car and will only increase in value.
I just don’t drive it enough to warrant keeping it any longer.

Electric sunroof – which doesn’t leak.
