Very original Beetle with a genuine low mileage of approx 38, 900 miles.
This car has been in the family for approximately 50 years having been purchased in the early 1970's from the original owner.
The car was used by my mother and father in law for a number of years and spent all its life in Devon.
The car has been recently recommissioned having been stored for several years. It is now in useable and running condition and has a current MOT.
There are new matching tyres on all the wheels including the spare in the bonnet.
The interior is very clean and complete. The seats and rubber floor are believed to to be the originals.
Externally there is some rust on the bodywork, and this is primarily cosmetic. The car would benefit from replacement front wings and the bumpers need either re-chroming or replacement. There is also corrosion at the back end of the roofs gutters.
The floor plan and heater channels are intact. This is a great running and roadworthy project.
The engine has benefitted from a recommission and the fuel system refurbished to ensure reliable starting and running.
The originality of the car is rare and there are no modifications or additions (not even a radio or 2nd door mirror!).
There are some original documents such as a service book and handbook.
