Description
1972 Honda SL100 K2
US import many years ago and now UK registered with V5 and relevant dating paperwork.
I have refurbished, not restored, this bike and it is now a fully functional and roadworthy vehicle. The new owner can use “as is” or spend a few quid to get it back to original condition. All the hard work has been done.
Apart from the seat all major parts are original. The engine has been stripped down, rebore, new piston, valves, chain etc. New kick starter spring fitted.
New brakes, tyres, tubes, sprockets, shocks and more.
A great little runaround and very rare. Hundreds of photos and videos available and viewings are very welcome. The bike started life in Washington State and was imported maybe around 6 years ago. The previous owner had it in his garage and never got round to starting the project.
I bought it and spent several months sourcing genuine parts from around the world. This was the hardest part. On discovering that the kick starter spring was broken I decided to rebuild the engine. The painted panels, tank and mudguards are not the original colour as my aim was to have a working, reliable bike.
