1964 Porsche 356 SC Panamericana Outlaw
The Porsche 356 is widely regarded as the company's first production car, predecessor to the 911
created by Ferdinand "Ferry" Porsche produced between 1948-1965 in many variants with the 356 SC arriving in 1964
Featuring a higher output 1582cc OHV air-cooled horizontally opposed four cylinder engine
producing 95hp, with dual 40 Solex carburettors, Four speed manual transmission,
independent front suspension with laminated torsion bars, parallel trailing arms, with tubular shock absorbers,
independent rear swing axles with torsion bars and tubular shock absorbers, and four wheel hydraulic disc brakes
Chassis #130833 has been tastefully modified in tribute to Porsche's success following the famous Carrera Panamericana road race's of the 1950's, a gruelling test across South America regarded as one of the toughest events of its day.
