Description
Tidy, rare economy model with peppy 1. 3 litre four-cylinder engine & 5-speed manual transmission; subtle 3-door GTi looks with BBS 4-stud alloy wheels; electric windows & sunroof from 20 year ownership showing just 90k miles, a very cool 90s hatchback. Also fitted with a Sony CD Radio unit with Bluetooth.
I purchased this Golf for my Grandson, unfortunately as he only recently passed his test the insurance was too high although I only paid £80 for myself on classic car insurance.
Since I’ve bought the car I have replaced the battery, alternator and fuel pump. I also freed up the electric windows and adjusted the sunroof. I have used the Golf on several runs and also showed the it at classic car events. It runs and drives really well, but unfortunately it has to go to finance an alternative car for my grandson
There is no signs of rust anywhere although there are one or two age related marks on the bodywork.
Current MOT (with no advisories) 19th Feb however, will be sold with a brand new MOT. V5C; Service book with 10 stamps (last in Feb-24 @ 90, 085 miles); SORN notifications; bills; 2 old MOTs; MOT Feb-25 with no advisories

Please note that this Golf is registered as a Cat “C” meaning it was uneconomical to repair at the time but no structural damage. I do not know this part of the cars history however, it appears there are new panels on the front end.
