I purchased this car in 2019 from a local private seller after searching extensively for one in this stunning color combination. Despite its mileage, it drives and runs brilliantly and has been well cared for throughout its life.

As a true 4-seater convertible, the A124 comfortably accommodates four adults, which was one of the main reasons I chose it over the less rare BMW E36s of the same era. With 16-inch 8-hole alloy wheels and plenty of rubber, the ride quality is exceptional, even on the rough UK roads.
The pillarless coupe design and full top-down convertible look are timeless, simple, and elegant—oozing cool. Few cars in this price range offer as much class and character as this one.
This particular car is in one of the best color combinations: light metallic blue over a darker lower section, paired with a cream interior and a dark blue Mohair hood. The interior is in excellent condition, with well-preserved leather, carpets, and trim. It retains all its original trim, and I’ve sourced replacement sun visors, the correct seatbelt arms, and triangles during my ownership.
It comes with its original warning triangle, jack, and tool roll (although a few tools are missing) and even has an unopened medical kit! Additionally, the car features a period-correct CD player and radio with an auxiliary input, making it easy to play your favorite tunes from your phone.
The boot space is surprisingly generous for a convertible, and the top can be lowered without needing to unpack—perfect for long trips. In fact, we traveled to France last summer, and it performed brilliantly.
While the 220 engine isn't built for speed, this car isn’t about racing—it’s a stylish cruiser for sunny days. As the 1990s fade into history, this car is gaining more attention for its looks and rarity.
