Description
For sale is my beautiful 2009 Brera 2. 4 JTDM SV in Nero Carbonio Black – must be one of the best available.
I’ve owned this car for two years and am very much a fan of the 939 model range having owned a Spider, two 159 saloons and another Brera over the last few years (in addition to an Alfa 156 and 166).
In my opinion, the 2. 4, 5 cylinder diesel is the best of the engine options, with great performance (pulling powerfully and smoothly and like a train) whilst delivering good fuel economy.
I bought the car with a good service history and have maintained it well whilst in my ownership. I’ve had the timing belt, water pump and auxiliary belt replaced at approximately 70k (having been originally replaced at about the 30k mark) and the oil and filters changed at about £72k. The car is MOT’d until April, having passed the previous two years with no advisories.
The car has now done approximately 77k miles (which will be added to as I use it daily), of which approximately 11k has been during my ownership.
The car is in excellent, clean condition throughout, the bodywork being virtually unmarked.
Externally, the car comes with 19” Prodrive Alfa alloys shod with 235 x 40 Bridgestone Potenza S001 (front) and Michelin Pilot Sport 4 (rear) tyres all with good remaining tread, front and rear fog lights, automatically retracting and heated electric mirrors, rear parking sensors, cruise control and the hill hold feature. The car has the classic Spider / Brera twin chrome exhaust which gives it an aggressive stance.
Internally, the car is fitted with virtually unmarked black leather, part electric seats (extremely minor scuffing on the driver seat bolster), aftermarket Pioneer stereo head (with DAB/ FM/ MW and USB, Bluetooth connection option, as well as Android Auto and Apple Car Play functionality), hands free Bluetooth phone connection, on board computer, multifunctional steering wheel, electric windows (with good & functional door switches), follow me home lights, centre console with chill feature, cruise control, USB connection and power options via the glove box and ‘cigar lighter’ socket. The dual zone climate control blows chilled air.
These cars are classed as a ‘2 plus 2’s’, and can carry 4 adults but realistically, they should be considered comfortable sports coupes. However, the split rear seats do fold down resulting in a surprisingly large hatch storage area (I’ve managed to transport 2 cycles and travel luggage on touring holidays). Importantly, the car comes with two keys.
This is a great performing and looking car, often attracting admiring comments and is going to give someone a lot of fun. And if it doesn’t sell, that person will be me for the near future!
