Description
This Midget is one of the last 500 built. It left the factory in November 1979. It comes with a Heritage Certificate. It was first registered on the 1st August 1980 in Scotland. the car spent the next 37 years in the same family ownership doing very little mileage. In 2017 the car was acquired by Bridge Classic Cars in Woodbridge Suffolk who carried out a comprehensive recommissioning programme following an 11 year lay up on sorn. No rust was found or welding required the Ziebart system appeared to have done it's job well. A complete photo record of all the work done is available with the car. I purchased the car in in 2018 and after driving it for a while made the decision to have a Ford type 9 five speed gearbox fitted by specialist MG repairers Mike Rolls in Dorset. This makes the midget much more capable of keeping up with modern traffic and a real pleasure to drive. To many other cars and little use are the only reasons for parting with this car. It's beautiful.
