2003 Porsche Boxster 986 S

For sale, my beloved Porsche Boxster S.

The car is a 2003 facelift model with glass heated rear window. It has a black full leather interior in excellent condition, original Bose stereo with multi-cd player, has the module that allows roof operation on the move (up to 25mph), heated seats with full electrical adjustment, cruise control, rear parking sensors, trip computer, wind deflector, anti dazzle mirror and rain sensor. 18” wheels in excellent condition, Uniroyal Rainsport 5 tyres all round fitted 3 years/ 7, 000 miles ago. The headlights are nice and clear, unlike many examples at this age. There is no rust or corrosion anywhere to speak of.

This car is in excellent condition and has been fully and properly maintained throughout. I have owned the car for 17 years. I have the full history folder and file of the car from day one, including all MOTs and all books and a fully stamped service book (17 stamps), all in the car’s original leather folder. The car has 2x fully functional keys. The car has had four owners prior to myself.

The car has never been a daily driver in my ownership, it has only been used for pleasure. It has done many continental and UK trips, it has been on many club runs (inc PCGB and other clubs).

The rear main crank seal was done by a previous owner, I had the IMS bearing changed for a ceramic unit back in 2012. All suspension was replaced by myself in 2021 (picture folder available). To keep the car in standard condition I sourced all springs and rubber components from Porsche Sutton Coldfield, the dampers were OE spec Bilstein B4 sourced from Design 911. At the same time all four lambda sensors were replaced.

The car has been to Center Gravity for suspension alignment 3 times in my ownership (the last time in Jan 2023), to ensure the car drives nicely. Body wise, I think the car is in great shape. The front valence does have some stone chips, and there are some very minor and light scuffs here and there, all commensurate with a vehicle of this age.

The car drives very well indeed and the engine is lovely and smooth.

There are no rips, tears or undue wear to the interior anywhere, the roof is in very good condition and works perfectly (I've always kept the mech clean and lubricated).

Service history has always been maintained, I had my own garage business for the last 10 years of my working life (we specialised in Smart cars) so we carried out most of the work ourselves during that period and stamped the book. For anything other than routine maintenance the car went to a Porsche specialist. Oil has been changed annually. The only problem on the car is the non-working AC (not unusual on a model this age). Both AC condensers were replaced in 2019, the car now requires replacement of the longitudinal AC pipes.

I think the car is very reasonably priced, but I am open to offers.
