Description
The Mercedes-Benz 170 S is a luxury car produced by Mercedes-Benz from 1949 to 1955 in various petrol and diesel-powered versions. It was the first Mercedes-Benz to carry in its name the suffix "S" (for Sonder model- special model) denoting a superior level of comfort and quality.
This car was sold originally in Sweden and was bought and owned by a Mercedes collector from the very beginning and 25 years ago it underwent a complete restoration and all mechanical parts and the engine was rebuilt.
The interior is 74 years old but in great condition and so far there has been no reason to replace it. The body of the car has always been in good condition and there was no need to do much to it. The paintwork is in good condition and both the engine and gearbox works flawlessly.
The soft top is new and custom luggage is included.
