Here is a very original looking Series 3 Land Rover with 2. 25 petrol engine and hardtop.
This Land Rover was previously fitted with a replacement galvanised chassis with the rear crossmember painted black in order to add originality and at the same time the land rover was fitted with parabolic springs , new shocks , etc . Also since then the underside was waxolyled for added protection.

This Land Rover is quite rare as It comes with its original stamped service book as well as receipts , old mot's , etc , etc and has only had 3 previous owners.
From the combination of the service book and old MOT's we can see that the current indicated mileage of 56, 000 is correct .!
IIt is also MOT and Road tax exempt although (At the time of sale we will present the Land Rover for an MOT at a third party garage and any necessary remedial work will be carried out)
There are a few small scratches as you would expect for this age of Land Rover but generally the original bodywork is great with very nice patina and it looks like a typical Land Rover that could be seen working in all parts of the countryside back in the 70's and 80's.
Another nice original feature of this one is that it comes with its original Land rover tool kit and jack !
It is fitted with a Fairey Overdrive which gives this Land Rover the equivalent 5th gear for cruising and also to compliment that it has the original Fairey overdrive sticker on the rear panel.
5 Khumo tyres fitted recently give this Land rover a purposefull appearance .
Later type door mirrors have been put in place of the originals which allow for easier adjustment and give better vision , the originals are available if required.
Genuine Land Rover rear mudflaps are fitted complete with Land Rover logo in addition to front flaps and towing equipment is also fitted.
As always this Land Rover will go through our own workshop prior to sale where it will be serviced , etc with safety and reliability in mind .
