Description

For Sale is my Ferrari Mondial T 3. 4 LHD with only 4000km from new!

The Mondial T is the last iteration with a 3. 4 litre engine as found in the 348 and is much quicker than the preceding models. This being the Carbriolet makes it the rarest and most desirable of the T's.

The car had a minor bump in around 1999 (which was not subject to any insurance claim) - it was repaired at the time but there was an issue with its electronic operated clutch (very rare valeo option) - It was then put in storage by the previous owner - hence the low mileage of 4000km which was as it was when it was taken off the road - I believe to be genuine as it had its original Assymetrico PIRELLI factory tyres with plenty of tread but very cracked, original disc brakes and pads with factory chalk marking when I bought it (I still have these parts). Its service booklet only has its complimentary 1500km stamp.

This Valeo (electronic clutch) option makes it very rare (and one for the collectors) There's only approximately 40 Mondial cars ever made with this option and 1 special order F40. This was a very expensive option back in the day. On investigation I believe the clutch ECU is the issue or a gear selector potentiometer. I did find a company in Germany who could look at it for repair it but I have been very hesitant sending it over in case it got lost.

I have had the car switched to standard manual operation with a standard mondial pedal box and slave cylinder. I have all the valeo parts so the car could be put back to electronic clutch if repaired and new owner desired

There is still some front bonnet trim parts required: mainly the spare wheel carrier, surrounding trim and some other small pieces (this part holds the fuseboard so I have fabricated a bracket to hold it in place - which could be used as is. The car now runs and drives and could be test driven around some private land.

As the car had sat for so long there were a number of issues I fixed. These were:
Replacement of the fuseboard (mondials suffer from delamination of original PCB)
Replaced Alternator/ belts/ pulley etc
Several Sensors
Rebuilt fuel pumps
Fuel filters
General service spark plugs/ oil change / air filter etc
Tubi Exhaust which sounds great! (I have the original to go with the car)
Theres much more but I cant remember right now

The hood also needs replacing as it is ripped, and one of the rear window motors has stalled (this is a common issue with cabriolets - I have taken out the glass so the roof could be put down)

This would make a great project ready for some spring motoring - I am only looking to sell as I just have too much on. Any questions please just ask.
