1928 Ford Model A Phaeton
1st year for the Model A
Same family since new until my ownership in 2019. Restored.
Interestingly, this has the "B" engine head reserved for Police Cars and special order cars.
Starts easily, runs well.
Known issues: Will need soft top. Top irons are there in place under the tonneau cover, but no soft top is there. They're readily available and inexpensive, but never felt the need to replace it in the South.
Right now it has an electrical short believed to be in the tail lamp. Haven't attended to it yet.
Oil leak at oil pan (I think they all leak mostly if they're driven/ enjoyed).
Unique Henry Ford shift knob (never seen another).
Police Magnet on door is removeable.
Faux Machine Gun Not included.
Fuel tank was removed, cleaned, sealed ($700).
Car is a blast to own.
Priced at $17, 5k (U. S. funds please)------you can't find 'em any better for less.
