Description
MV Agusta Magni 861: The Pinnacle of Italian Engineering
Overview: The MV Agusta Magni 861 stands as a symbol of Italian motorcycle culture, merging traditional Italian design with advanced technology. This exceptional motorcycle captivates enthusiasts with its outstanding performance and exquisite aesthetics.
Engine and Performance: The engine, expanded to 861cc, features high-compression pistons, four carburetors, and a chain drive, delivering breathtaking acceleration and a thrilling riding experience.
Design: The new fairing, fuel tank, and seat design blend beauty and functionality, offering riders a sense of pride and joy. Notably, this model is equipped with an incredibly rare fuel tank crafted by Primo Felotti, whose craftsmanship and high quality are unparalleled. Felotti, like Arturo Magni, is an expert in aluminum machining for MV Agusta's racing bikes and has many legendary stories to his name. His exceptional skill and dedication have earned him respect from many racers and team members.
Felotti's Stories: For instance, during one race, a team bike suffered severe damage. Felotti worked overnight to repair the aluminum fuel tank, ensuring it was ready for the race the next day. Additionally, he collaborated closely with legendary racers such as Giacomo Agostini, Phil Read, and John Surtees, supporting their successes. Felotti's custom parts and repair work contributed to numerous victories. Now at 101 years old, he has retired and no longer creates these artistic fuel tanks.
Safety: The transition from drum brakes to disc brakes significantly improved safety and stopping power.
Rarity: The MV Agusta Magni 861 was produced in very limited quantities, making it a treasured possession for many motorcycle enthusiasts due to its rarity and high performance.
Legacy: Arturo Magni's expertise and passion have been passed down to his son Giovanni, who continues to produce high-quality motorcycles. The Magni 861, with its exceptional engineering and beautiful design, remains an icon of Italian motorcycle culture.
