Recently serviced with fresh fluids throughout.
Complete with full set of Givi touring luggage.
These bikes a generally regarded as bomb proof but the weak areas have been identified as the charging regulator and petcock valve. Both of these items have been replaced as a precautionary measure. I have also replaced the fan switch and fitted heated grips on a relayed circuit.
I bought this bike at the beginning of 2024 to complete a 2 up overseas tour on. Prior to the trip the bike was given a thorough going over, with the fore-mentioned work completed.
The bike performed faultlessly whilst away and I have completed over 2000 care free miles on it since. It’s both comfortable and formidable. If I had the space it would be staying with me but it has to go. It presents well from a distance but has marks consummate with age.
If I were keeping it, I would re -paint the wheels and both engine covers, as they have dulled over time. The headlight fairing has also been painted at some point and whilst presentable is not as glossy as the tank and side panels and could benefit from a fresh coat of lacquer.
In summary, a mechanically sound hyper bike that rides beautifully and with a little work will present very well.
