The Bentley was registered new by renowned dealer Michael Powles Limited, Syston, Leicester. With a 12% discount, the car cost £122, 584. 79 when new. This is over £248, 000 in today's money.
Previous owner for 21 years, although he made very little use of it in the last several years due, I understand, to ill health. Notwithstanding that the car has had over £25, 000 spent on it since 2017 with two well recognised Bentley/ Rolls Royce specialists. Most recently, I invested about £3, 000 in the car. That included an oil service and MOT. The expenditure is supported with invoices detailing the work undertaken. See the photos. This car has been well cared for.
My Bentley specialist believes that the head gasket has been replaced but I do not have any paperwork to support this.
The car was category c registered in 2001 when it was just 6 years old. However, Ghost Motors valued the car at £27, 000 in 2017 when it had done 73, 190 miles. The car has only travelled some 1, 500 miles since.
