Description
Here we have a classic quality machine! A German DKW RT200VS from 1959, spent the last 25 years in a private static collection in Scotland . It was restored about 30 years ago came to me with a charging problem which has been addressed by fitting a £400 12 volt Vape ignition system obviously now runs with no issues has a V5 (but due to storage in a collection has yet to be taxed).
The 'Deek' still has its Pride & Clarke Middlesex reg number. Pride & Clarke sold about 400 RT 200VS's from August 1958 to September 1959 at a knock down price of £129 19s 6d . The 4 circles on the tank badge were 4 German makers (Auto Union, DKW, Hortch and Wanderer.) who formed Auto Union which today can be seen as the 4 circles on the badge of Audi. So "Durch Sprong, Technic" and grab yourself a lightweight quality machine. ......... Cash on Collection please. Also its now 66 years old so no returns or garuantees!Lightweight, useable and quality machine.
