Yamaha XT600 Tenere
Reg 01/ 03/ 1983 registered as a Historic vehicle (no MOT or road tax)
Mileage is in Km 41, 500 (25, 900 miles) low for a 42 year old bike.
Frame has been powder coated, engine in black satin gloss as is oil cooler.
New oil and filters, petrol tank lined with ethanol proof material.
The bike is in very good condition paintwork as you can see is good
It has a Motad full stainless steel exhaust. Fitted with off-road tyres, new brake master cylinder, brakes have been serviced as have forks.
This bike was first registered in France and as you know these early XT600 Tenere are becoming very rare.
I reconditioned this bike last year it runs but l have a hip issue so it is too tall and l cant get on to start it so sadly may as well be sold, l wanted one of these for years but at 70 not safe for me.
If you come to see it you will have to kick start it.
Only bad point rev counter needs a minor repair. This is a nice looking classic bike
