The bike is a limited-edition Ducati 998 Ben Bostrom, which I’ve owned for over 15 years. The bike benefits from the factory standard specification which includes the following: -
Ohlins suspension front and rear
Ohlins steering damper
Marchesini lightweight wheels
Blue frame
Brembo brakes
Standard bodywork which includes factory standard carbon parts – airbox and belly pan.
Titanium Termignonis exhaust - standard specification.
The bike also includes the full complement of keys, book pack, tools and paddock stand.
Condition
I’ve kept the bike in a heated garage all its life. It does have a few marks commensurate with its age but is in very good condition.
I purchased it from the first owner via a garage in south Wales. I used it a lot more when I didn’t have kids and responsibilities.
Service history
The bike has an extensive service history and has recently been refurbished and fully serviced at a specialist. They have gone through the bike replacing and renewing a number of parts, including drive belts, fuel pump, fluids, tyres etc, ensuring its in great running order. This Ducati 998S ‘Bostrom’ is a fantastic sports bike and one of the limited-edition race-replica superbike, released to celebrate American rider Ben Bostrom’s victories as a factory rider for Ducati. Finished in a special livery and offering an element of exclusivity being no. 38 of just 155 examples produced, this bike would make a superb addition to any collection as well as a thrilling ride.
