Here we have my Lancia integrale, I’ve had many integrales from 8vs to evos over the years and this is by far the nicest I’ve driven, this is a uk supplied car which means it’s history is fully traceable and it’s mileage verifiable which is rare with these, despite being a uk car it has survived in remarkable original condition, many have deteriorated badly and had considerable welding but not this car! Clearly this car has enjoyed a gentle life.
The car is complete with 4 folders of history, the most exhaustive service history I have seen. In recent years the car has benefitted from a new clutch and flywheel, a reconditioned cylinder head along with valves, guides etc, a full stainless steel exhaust system, new brake flexible lines, dampers, springs, top mounts, bushes etc all carried out at walkers. In 2023 the car received a major service including cam belt and bearings, balance belt, aux belt, all oils and filters, 4x new tyres, a new alternator and a new fuel pump.
Most of last years work was completed ahead of a road trip to the south of Spain which I successfully completed without a single hiccup (4000km in 7 days) the car was then given another oil change at the end of last summer and has been in storage since!
The above work has resulted in a seriously well sorted integrale that can be fully enjoyed as intended. The car drives absolutely beautifully, the engine and gearbox are a joy, there are no leaks and the car doesn’t use any notable amount of oil, oil pressure is excellent and the car runs at the correct temperatures. The clutch feels as new (it is!) the brakes are strong and the car handles amazingly.
Cosmetically the car is beautiful, it hasn’t had any paintwork within the last 8 years so it’s fair to say what you see is what you get. The panels all fit perfectly and there are no signs of repair or previous damage anywhere. The paint appears to be original across the majority of the panels and it still retains a beautiful deep shine. There is some bubbling on the scuttle which has remained constant for many years, there is a small pin dent on the bonnet and various small stone chips here and there commensurate with the age of the car but none notable enough in their own right to deserve a specific mention.
The interior is in immaculate condition, often the material on these seats appears ripped or heavily worn but these are amongst the cleanest I have seen. The carpet is immaculate as are the over mats. The dash, door cards and all other trims are in equally as immaculate condition. Everything works exactly as it should.
The car is complete with its original space saver wheel, Jack kit complete with bag and the original tool wallet.
The car comes with 4 folders full of history, the original document wallet is present as are all hand books and the original and well stamped service book. The car is complete with its original sets of keys.
