Honda CB450 K6 1973 model, manufactured 11/ 72 - USA Barn Find.
Purchased from the UK importers as a Barn Find with the intention of restoring & riding, project has now stalled so if there is interest I will sell now - or eventually get round to finishing.
I bid on several of these bikes that were less complete or molested, but they went for silly money. This was one of the best I saw.
I have obtained a Dating Certificate for this bike & registered it - so I have a V5 in my name & an age-related number plate.
This is a very complete bike, with all original tinware - including silencers - in good solid condition. Paint on the tank is not great & looks better than it is, chrome is pretty good.
All rubber hoses are perished, so front brake needs a complete overhaul & petrol hoses need replacing.
The importers say they had it running & I rigged up a tank & battery - started on the button & ran okay!
Part dismantled now, I have refurbished the seat & purchased some new parts & a good battery.
Frame needs painting, tyres replacing - rear has been removed.
Mileage may be genuine, it's obviously been unused for many years & tyres may be original.
Obviously freshly pressure washed when I got it & in pictures - not so shiny now, but stored in a dry garage.
