Other specifications
Fuel capacity: 14. 00 litres (3. 70 gallons)I have a passion for Yamaha. I built a stock framed XS400 with US custom parts back in 1989 with an MZ seat and stock Yamaha tank using three separate bikes to build one beautiful bike (refer to image, me sitting on the bike I built). I had a 16" rear wheel and 18" front wheel (standard size) with a US custom swinging arm. Gas shock absorbers. Over the years I have owned six XS400s, an XS650 US Custom, an XS750 Triple and various other bikes throughout my riding life. I have found these bikes are extremely comfortable to ride, and handle the roads well.
Due to ill health, my passion has not diminished but my disabilities have progressed to such an extent the bike needs a new home.
Refer to the images to see the original paperwork, old MOT, and Haynes (Bible) manual, with microfiche and parts book. It comes with two keys, one for ignition and the other for the tank.
The bike is sold with a bike cover.
Coils need attention, been stood for a month, may need to be trailered away.
