A lot of car for little money – fundamentals in place. Great as home project to complete.
Trim -Good condition seats, trim, carpet and roof lining – not ripped but would benefit from being cleaned up.
Tonneau cover and hood bag are in good condition.
New black hood supplied, original hood and frame on vehicle.
The bodywork is largely good with the chassis being in good condition also, small repairs required to the offside sill edge, rear number plate panel, nearside and offside rear quarter wing lower edges only, offside door bottom panel (or secondhand door), under bonnet bracket repair – all shown in pictures provided.
Hard top roof is in good condition with only slightly rusty edges.
Engine starts and runs well and has good oil pressure.
Gearbox/ Clutch in working order.
Brakes not working.
Chrome bumpers in good condition.
Modifications :-
Sound deadening kit fitted to underside of bonnet, K&N air filters, SS twin exit exhaust system (large bore), electric fan, oil cooler, spax adjustable shock absorbers front and rear, vehicle lowered – with original spring in boot, uprated anti roll bar – original kept with car.
Spares that come with vehicle - sound deadening kit for boot lid, Triumph stickers, Original Leyland Parts catalogue and Owners workshop manual plus additional miscellaneous parts in boot.
Glass is security etched with the registration.
Some history and MOT Certificates are with the vehicle.
Only had 3 previous owners. I intended to complete the work on this Spitfire and get it back on the road but time has gone against me so have decided to sell whilst its still a pretty straight forward task for someone else to take on and enjoy,
