Welcome to my Montauk advert .
This is a Montauk R1200C not to be confused with the older R1200C 'James Bond bikes' !
This model superseeded the older bikes with major modifications and specs including , upgrade engine with new cylinder heads , larger better dashboard and clocks , better alloy wheels and chunky tyres , built in windshield mount including the extra main beam light , two screen options (mine has the tall touring screan) , overall a much more practical any better handling machine , with the locking removable hard cases its a great touring bike and handles great 1 or two up .
The condition is fantastic for its age and has been very well cared for and never seen a winter road ever .
I have also fitted two auxilliary spots so its even better at night for those long summer days and nights out .
Starts and runs lovely and the ABS brakes are also great with full assistance as they should be .
Heated grips work and there are no warning light on for anything.
These are the most rare of the last 1200C cruisers and certain to hold there value and increase in coming years .
