With its elegant lines, the Mercedes R107 series characterised the manufacturer's design in the 1970s. It also set new standards in terms of passive safety. The high production quality of the Mercedes-Benz 380 SL R107, its functionality and its charisma made the comfortable yet powerful roadster an icon. It was so popular with solvent buyers that it was built for 18 years - longer than any other Mercedes model series. The exclusivity of the R107 series, of which 237, 287 were produced, makes its representatives sought-after classic cars in the sporty luxury class today. This roadster in the elegant colour combination of midnight blue, grey leather and dark blue soft top was delivered to the USA in 1985. A few years ago, it returned to Germany via the Netherlands and was given its European appearance. Since then, extensive investments have been made in repairs and the replacement of wearing parts.
