Description
increase a bit (it had 29000 miles when i got it)
its a 1. 6l petrol with 4 speed box and is comfy in my opinion at 45mph and in a hurry at 55mph.
it had been hidden in a barn many year s until in around 2015 the chap i got it from purchased it got it mot, d with some bodges and used it for a couple of shows .
it then stood once again until i got it in about 2020 , i went through it mechanically which was just changing all fluids, filters plugs points condenser etc , changed a few brake pipes , fitted a new windscreen rubber 4 good quality new tyres and the only rot it had was in the sills which were bodged up with filler so i made new ones from 2mm steel cut the old ones off and fitted the new ones., i also cleaned the underside which was still in loose factory paint and repainted it then waxoyle shulz it which ive done again this year, 300 miles ago ive also fitted a full set of antiroll bar and suspension rubbers as well as new bottom knuckles(ball joints
i have cut small bits of rust out on some of the body in my ownership and welded in new steel all of which you can see as i have not used filler on it , the only filler to my knowledge is in the p/ s front wing and i have a new old stock front wing you can bolt on if you wish.
this pick up is very reliable and i dare drive it any where but its scruffy looking as thats how i like it . im not bothered if i sell this or not and may change my mind if i sell something else, yes like many good folk ive collected a few to many things:) the pick upis registered as historic vehicle so tax and mot exempt
sensible questions welcomethis peugeot 504 pick up is believed to be the oldest surviving one in the uk. it has only covered just over 35000 miles which may increase a bit (it had 29000 miles when i got it)
