Unique Autocraft Cobra Project

Unique Autocraft Python Cobra. Taken off the road for a ‘quick clean up’ which evolved into a complete restoration which nears completion. A couple of land rover rebuilds and young kids unfortunately prioritised. Very reluctant sale now due to redundancy over the summer and investment required for a new business.
Correctly registered as a “Unique Autocraft Kit” on V5. Historic Vehicle.
Chevy 5. 7l rebuilt in 2018 by renowned engine builder Mike Huddart into a 6. 3l stroker with scat crank and rod set as well as new Weiand stealth intake manifold and Holly Street Avenger 670 carb.
Engine age statement from Mike - Chevy 383 6. 3l with date of manufacture Dec 1976 4 main bolt.
Hurst 4 speed top loader gearbox rebuilt 2013 by Thunder Road Cars.
15 inch knock-on wheels (Vintage HA02) and hub.
1969 Jaguar XS Roadster running gear.
90% fitted new SVC wiring loom.
Chassis stripped and painted in Por 15. All running gear rebuilt with nuts and bolts replaced, new spax shocks and 450lb front and 250lb rear springs.
Reconditioned brakes by Ward Engineering with Fosseway Engineering rear easy bleed kit fitted.
Aluminium engine bay, interior and tunnel. New seats and harnesses are yet to be fitted.
Dash taken back to glass with gauges relocated in period correct layout. Requires recovering.
Main work to complete - Body roll glass fibered (early UA’s had upholstered foam pad across top of dash and rear. Was due to have body rolls moulded, rear lights changed to rectangular and then resprayed by Thunder Road Cars (currently wrapped) but unfortunately made redundant a week before it was due at the garage.
