Description
1961 Morris Mini-Minor Deluxe
A lovely car, runs well, with the engine and gearbox behaving as they should. The previous owner had it in dry storage for 10 years, and since I have owned it, it has never been driven in the rain and dry stored too. 33000 miles on the clock, which is very low for the age.
Pretty much everything is original in this car, carpets, headlining, wheels, engine and glass. I have fitted an isolator on the battery, although it does have the factory fitted one by the steering column. Floor start, floor button for high beam, center clock, side riding lights, working green indicator stalk light. The reg is I believe a scottish one, and probably worth a bit on its own.
It does have a few blemishes, the paintwork isn't concours, the passenger door will need a bit of fettling, and there is a small hole at the top of each wing by the windscreen scuttles and in the front right flitch, but there is nothing major which needs doing. As it is, this car is a brilliant useable classic, but also an excellent base for a low cost restoration if you wish, with really little needed doing to it. I am selling as I sadly don't really have the space to restore it. For a 63 year old car, this one is in incredibly original and good condition, not having been fully restored in its lifetime.
The only non-original items include electric washer fluid pump, RH wing mirror, a radio aerial fitted, and the drivers seat is from another car.
Tax and MOT exempt, I have the V5 and would recommend a viewing.
Many thanks!
