1200 conversion, still registered as a 883 on the UK V5. Was imported to the UK in 2023 from the USA and registered on the correct age-related plate. High mileage at almost 57K but starts, runs, rides and stops as it should. Bike is in generally very good condition throughout for it's age and mileage, although being 25 years it isn't prefect as it has been used! Tyres in good condition, paintwork excellent (resprayed in black metal-flake with purple pearlescent strip and variegated gold-leaf pinstriping early 2024 by KJ Kustom Paint), brakes work as they should, engine starts on the button. Pipes a bit on the loud side but not offensively so. Currently out of MoT but will come with 12 months ticket for the asking price. V5C present in my name. I bought it in March 2024 as a light recuperation project having suffered a heart attack and needing something to do during my down time. I've ridden the bike a few times mainly commuting to work a few times and the odd shopping trip, but I prefer "Big Twin" Harleys so the Sporty is now up for sale. It's pretty basic as bikes go and I wouldn't want to ride it long distance, but for Sunday morning blasts and short trips out its great, and handles suprisingly well. Having had the 1200 conversion (note - I have no proof of this but I do know the previous owner and that he did the conversion), it's also pretty rapid when it needs to be!!
