Thank you for looking at my ad for my Series 3 Land Rover high capacity Probably the best Land Rover series 3 high capacity, Hi Cap, diesel lwb 109 in the country. A very early production model being registered 1st August 1982.
Very original, fabulous condition with no expense spared to ensure its condition and running is as it came off the production line in 1982, registered 1st August 1982. I found this low owner Land Rover High capacity 109 lwb, after searching for two years, most I'd seen were beyond repair or butchered.
This series 3 has It's been subject to a comprehensive rebuild to ensure ease of ownership. No corners cut. The chassis is original and was in good condition as it had lived in Oxford area, where they use very little salt in the winter time.
The gear box has refurbished using original parts by City Gear boxes, Coventry. The engine had work to included new injectors, rebuilt injector pump and timing chain, as often the timing chain stretches and the diesel engine smokes.
The engine runs beautifully with no smoke. Full respray using period correct coach enamel from Paintman paints in Retford.
All original parts were restored where possible. Original new old new stock parts were sourced if available to keep the Land Rover original . The work was carried out by renown Land Rover specialist Flyde LR Services. All invoices are available . The landrover is tax and MOT exempt.
