Description
Porsche Boxster S 986. This 2003 model features a 3. 2L flat-six engine with a six-speed manual transmission, finished in Seal Grey Metallic with a black convertible hood. It's ULEZ compliant and has 99, 800mmiles. I am the fifth owner, having acquired it in January 2019 and added approximately 20, 000 miles. The car is currently on a cherished number plate, P121 BXR, included in the sale.
The car presents well with minimal age-related wear and a few bonnet stone chips. Several panels were resprayed to a high standard due to minor damage. The engine performs excellently and the gearbox shifts precisely. It comes with a Bose sound system, note the current double din stereo is not included and its original radio/ cd player will be supplied, electric windows, heated leather seats, air conditioning, an onboard computer, a spare wheel, a wind deflector. During my ownership and besides general service items the following items have been added/ replaced
* New windscreen, reversing camera, and DAB aerial in 2024.
* Retrofit cruise control, oil and filter change, and a headlamp switch rectification in 2024.
* Rear n/ s brake pipe replacement and air conditioning system overhaul in 2023.
* Rear anti-roll bar, shocks, suspension coils, brake discs, pads, and wear sensors replacement in 2023.
* Replacement of front and rear suspension components, steering track rod joints, and air conditioning system overhaul in 2022.
* New rear exhaust 2024
Not so good issues:
* The second key appears to only lock and unlock the car.
* Driver's door micro switch could do with an overhaul, as the alarm beeps on setting, however both windows and all the locks are functional.
* Someone has recently and kindly scratched the front n/ s bumper and I am in the process of getting a quote ( see photo)
Only reason for selling is I have to buy a bigger car for the dog, bikes etc.
