Description
Please see my listing for my dad's 1965 Triumph 6T Thunderbird with 8708 genuine miles with matching frame and engine numbers. I inherited this bike from my dad in 2018 and I am currently the 3rd owner from new. The bike has been in the family since 1985, it's been off the road since 2018 and always stored in a dry garage. The bike does show signs of age and is in need of cosmetic work I. e rubber grips, paint and tyres. The bike starts and runs, I have recently replaced the battery, plugs and oil, but will need a tune up and brake check before going on the road. The bike has the boyer type mk 3 electric ignition upgrade. I have not ridden the bike since bringing it home as its currently insured for storage only. As the bike is over 40 years old it is MOT and Tax exempt. Once tuned, checked over, and tyres replaced you can do as much or as little as you want. The bike has matching numbers and has very low mileage (8708). The bike has had 3 owners, Peter John Hayes brought the bike on the 25th of May 1965, the beige colour scheme was done by him. The Second owner was my Dad Jeff Lindsay and he brought the bike on the 28th of February 1985, he added the boyer electric ignition. The Third owner is myself, the bike was put in my name on the 6th of April 2018 when my Dad became ill and has sat in my garage since then.
