I purchased this 997 from Williams Crawford in July 2023 and have covered just 6, 000 miles since. It was serviced in July 2023 by Williams Crawford (oil and filter change) and passed its latest MoT with no advisories. The alternator was also replaced recently. Taxed until August 2025.
This 2005 Carrera 2 S has been cared for by just five owners, including myself. It was owned by the previous gentleman for 13 years and serviced exclusively by OPC Leicester during that time. Since my ownership, I’ve continued its maintenance with respected Porsche specialists (Williams Crawford and SCS Honiton). Recent work includes the replacement of coolant pipes by SCS Honiton.
I use the car a few times a week for 30–60 minute drives, ensuring it’s properly warmed up and treated with care. Typical trips include drives to the gym or supermarket. I’m selling reluctantly due to relocation abroad. If I could store it properly while away, I absolutely would.
Condition
The car is in very, very good condition—better than most on the market—but not showroom immaculate. It has been well cared for, with smooth clutch operation and no immediate need for replacement. No bore scoring. The IMS bearing will be changed before Spring this year. The asking price will be adjusted to reflect this later.
