The 5/ 4 came into my posession as a assembled and mostly complete motorcycle. Since then it has been disassembled and some major jobs have been done and paid as first steps towards a total restoration. These are girder fork rebushing/ news spindles, full refurb of period magdyno, sanding/ f1st layer paint on frame, general cleaning, taking apart the engine, rebore of cylinder and new piston, cleaning and re-assembly of gearbox ( now ready to fit), stripping paint of fuel tank now back to the original chrome. Follwing new parts have been added T-shaped battery holder and tank rubbers. . Used parts added speedo drive ( needs attention/ little sprocker, 1 (one( inverted) lever, original advance/ retard and airlever ( needs attention) Replica 8 inch shell and rim, light switch and ammeter ( needs attention), lightswitch and ammeter (( needs assembly) MT 110 ( needs attention) These are all very costly items. Mudguards etc. are in good condition. All bolts and nuts originally of the 5/ 4 are still there and could be re-used after treatment. Following needs doing: complete engine overhaul and assembly. New rims or and ( sand) blast existing ones, new handlebar complete ( original one available but bend and rusty), saddle, license plate, complete set of exhaust pipes, axle rear wheel ( fix drum) an all the other things normally associated with rebuilding a vintage motorcycle. Included in the sales are the document of purchase, copies of Norwegian license. ( shipped to Trond heim in 1936 as 1 (one) of 4 (four). copy of parts manual and some other documentation.
