Thank you for viewing this lovely Fiat X1/ 9. Being in the motor trade myself and a classic car enthusiast I am advertising and selling this on behalf of the owner, whose husband had sadly passed away and this was his pride and joy. The owner has very kindly offered a substantial sum from the proceeds of sale to go charity, which will be donated via the Square Wheels Classic Car Club.
Without further ado, here's some information about this X1/ 9! The mileage is very low, only 17, 500. It has only had four owners in the past 40 years and clearly been very well looked after which is apparent from the condition. I have replaced the battery and had an MOT carried out, and it has passed with the only advisories being 3 cracked and perished tyres. The tester commented on how clean and dry the underside is and how nice it is in general. It drives very well, selecting all gears with ease and the clutch and brakes also feel good. It starts easily and gets up to temperature nicely. The interior is nice with no rips or tears in the leather, the carpet is also good.
I would recommend the new owner carries out some maintenance such as replacing the timing belt along with a service and replacing all fluids for peace of mind. This X1/ 9 has spent the past year in the owners garage but previously had been driven regularly and very much enjoyed.
