Description
Hi this is my 1996 Ford Fiesta Classic 1. 1
I bought the car around July of 2023 and have been daily driving it since.
Good Bits:
I have lowered it 60mm on Vmaxx lowering springs and have fitted a set of VERY rare Centra Ford RS accessory wheels which I have had custom painted silver and gold by a proper body shop which wasn't cheap! I have fitted new Monroe rear shocks as well. The car is very low miles with just under 50, 000 miles on the clock and the interior reflects that, with no major damage inside and no tears to the seats. Beneath, the car is still in very good condition and solid.
Previous owner retro fitted a Sportex S3 back box to the car which sounds nice without being too loud. The car has had an original black roof spoiler fitted at some point in its life. These can be hard to come by. I have a small amount of service history along with the owners handbook, a Haynes manual and a couple of brochures, one for the car and one for the accessories including the wheels. MOT til 2nd of June 2025. Insurance and tax is also cheap and could be a great first enthusiast car. These are modern classics and starting to go up in value now.
Bad Bits:
Of course the car is 28 years old so there will be some wear and tear. The paint and body work have seen better days. Its hard to see the paint in these pictures. There is also some rust, the worst bit on the rear passenger arch. It passed its last MOT with this.
£1600 is cheap for what it is in my opinion, the car has at least £800 in wheels and suspension and it drives very nicely as well as having the low miles it has. This car has been nothing but reliable to me but its time to move on and let someone else use and enjoy it.
DO NOT EXPECT A MINT CONDITION CAR FOR UNDER £2000. THAT IS JUST SILLY.
I WILL TAKE LOWER OFFERS FOR THE CAR ON STEEL WHEELS. THESE HAVE BALD TIRES AND THE CAR WILL NEED TO BE TRAILERED.
The best thing is to view the car, It is located in Brightlingsea, Essex.
Thanks.
