It’s with a heavy heart I am selling this wonderful example of a VW GOLF MRK 3 VR6 HIGHLINE.
I am the third owner and I knew the two previous owners of the vehicle, more of that later.

Brand new front windscreen as had large stone chip last year. This car is of very high sentimental value to me, I was a Chef and my fish supplier at the time had brought the car brand new from
Beadles vw in Sevenoaks. In 1997. I remember to this day when he showed me the car and I sat in it the smell of the new leather was amazing and then the drive! I was working late one evening for a function he picked me up from work at midnight and drove me to Silverstone for the British GP, pulling up the slip road onto the M25 the sound of the V6 Engine the smoothness and pull through the gears something I never have forgotten.
Tragically in 4 years later my Dear Friend had a Brain Hemorrage and passed away ! Never forgotten.
His Dad kept the car and I would often see him in town etc and have a chat and he loved driving it around. His grandchildren worked as weekend staff at the restaurant and every week I would ask if Grandad still had the car or if one day he would sell it, I must have asked every month for two years!
Then 13 Jan 2008 the day came the grandchildren told me he was selling the VR6, the rest is history!!
I’ve owned and loved the car for 16 years and in that time have spent £13, 000 maintaining and improving her.
The car runs absolutely superbly and attracts so many compliments from all ages re her appearance and condition etc
everything is standard apart from the anti roll bar, steering wheel and the BBS wheels which in my option only improve the appearance of this classic.
My situation has changed I’ve since retired from Hospitality and have turned my garage into an outside kitchen, I need a more practical car that I can use daily to put the dog in etc.
