Description
Superb example of this rare car. The 6th from last twin cam, built in 1960, never restored and in excellent original condition. Comprehensive, documented history from new. Completely rebuilt Peter Woods engine in 2002. Probably one of the most original cars of its type in existence. Formerly exhibited at Beaulieu Motor Museum, she's lovely to drive and immaculate inside.
She's an export, RHD coupe (website only gave an option to tick roadster!). She was ordered by a Flt Sgt Norman Burr with a non-standard interior (including red leather seats) and a host of extras including heater, oil cooler, radio, luggage rack etc.
She has won many concours competitions with Roy Coomber, and featured in many MG books and publications - she's a well-known car.
She's been in my family for several years and is much loved, but needs to be used more, hence a sad sale.
