Mechanical: Good, with caveats… the exhaust needs adjusting as it knocks against the rear beam, the drops links on the front suspension arms needs renewing.
Bodywork Condition: it’s a bit rough around the edges as you can see from the photographs. The bottoms of the doors have blown and there’s been some previous welding on the outer sills. No holes though but would need some work to get her looking perfect.
Electrics: everything works inc ABS, sunroof, spoiler, mirrors and windows. The blower only works on the final setting.
Wheels and tyres: Good
Interior: good for 170K miles considering wear and tear – for more details please study the photos.
Modifications:
Lowered – suspension brand unknown.
Induction kit – K&N (from memory)
Bodywork – Colour coded, side rubbing strips deleted and rear lights tinted smoke.
History:
A folder folders full of paperwork but no service book available.
My thoughts in general:
It’s a good solid Corrado VR6 that’s been loved by its previous owner. It needs a few cosmetic jobs to get the condition over the line but nothing major.
When I bought it in October I drove her down from Wakefield to Northampton and she did not miss a beat.
Reason for sale:
I bought the car as a project but with the breakdown of my marriage my finances are stretched and as anybody knows looking at this advert with interest, maintaining a classic car is heavy on the wallet. Hence, I’m putting it up for sale.
Viewing:
The car is located at my Mothers house in Northampton and I live in Glasgow however I am down from 27/ 12 to 04/ 01 if you wanted to arrange a viewing during that time.
Terms:
I’m available on Watsapp to assist with any queries you might have although a call after 7:30PM in the evening once I’ve got my 3 year old to bed might be more practical as I can be slow at responding to messages due to working full time. Bear in mind that my bed time is 10PM so please no calls after this time. Message me for my phone number.
Please note that if you wanted to collect the car via trailer at a later date or drive it at your own risk, the funds will need to have cleared in my account before the keys will be handed over. We can discuss this in more depth privately once the auction has ended.
The car is advertised elsewhere and I reserve the right to end the auction early.
