When the directors of the Man From Uncle wanted an iconic motorcycle for Kuryakin there was only one choice – The Metisse Mk3 Scrambler.
2015 unregistered frame (dating certificate supplied) converted to accept the 1966 Triumph Daytona T100R 500cc unit construction motor by the original frame maker and then re nickel plated, so as new condition.
The motor has been fully refurbished by known Triumph Engine Builder, here is the brief specifications, the list is too long to detail here but can by had by a prospective buyer.
Crank reground to accept +10 big end shells
Cylinders bored to accept +40 new pistons & rings
New valves & springs fitted into as new rebuilt cylinder head
New clutch assembly
New electronic ignition system including a power box (for lights & horn plus electronic speedo)
New lithium mini power pack battery to assist with starting
And much more but also includes
New Amal carburettor on new single carburettor manifold (a very rare item from the states) makes for easy starting (starts hot or cold 1st or 2nd kick) and smooth running
New wiring loom
New 90% road/ 10% green lane Avon tyres & tubes
New paint & logo’s
