This early Japanese Import MK1 MX-5 has been cherished and preserved its whole life, forming the near flawless example it is today. With only 77, 000 Kilometers (47, 800 Miles) and 3 Owners, the car has been perfectly kept and maintained by the same elderly owner, Hugh Ogara, since 2002 all the way up until January 2024, whilst being stored in a heated dry garage with very minimal road use for the whole 22 years, making for the very desirable, incredibly low mileage, rust free, early Eunos Roadster it is today. Besides a few tasteful cosmetic modifications, the car has been left in near complete standard condition, all the way down to the original stereo/ casette player! With a recent Cambelt, Waterpump and Full Service as of 7/ 12/ 2024, and a Fresh Advisory Free MOT until 16/ 12/ 2025, making the car fully good to go in need of nothing.
Bodywork wise, the car is completely rust free - both rear arches have spot welds all the way around, meaning they are still the original panels, again in completely rust free condition showcasing how well the car has been preserved and never driven through winters. The sills are again completely rust free all the way along, with welding on both rear sills ends done to a very high standard in Early 2013, removing some minor surface rust that was mentioned on the MOT 1/ 12/ 2012. The paintwork is in overall amazing condition, with the odd age related mark here and there on various panels, that are more than expected for a 32 year old car. The Interior is in perfect condition, with no age related wear to any trim accessories or seats! The standard Steering Wheel and Shift Knob have both been uprated to a Nardi Alternatives, improving the look and drivability of the car! The factory standard Stereo System works exactly as it should and secure, although it is missing the original mounting bracket. The Soft top has also been upgraded to a much more durable Mohair Roof with a heated glass rear window!
The car runs and drives abasolutely perfectly with no issues at all, which is expected for such a low mileage and well preserved example! Whilst being stored from 2014 up until 2023, the car was ran and moved frequently, so all suspension and engine components stayed in perfect working condition.
