Classic VW Beetle
This Beetle was subject to a ground up restoration a number of years ago. It has been in storage and now requires some recommissioning.
Bodywork is overall in very good condition. I am told when restored the car was fitted with four new wings, bonnet and engine cover and probably other panels. The body is still very presentable but a couple of areas have started to bubble up and will benefit from attention before they become a major issue.
Fitted with some nice extras such as aluminium sill steps and door hinges.
The underside of the car appears to be in VERY good shape.
Some of the chrome trims and body fittings have some pitting and tarnishing to the chrome.
The interior is something quite special. The car has been completely re-trimmed. The seats, door liners, headlining and just about everything else has been professionally recovered in leather “Not vinyl”
Interior work would have cost more than the current asking price for the car.
Fitted with matching seat belts included the back seat.
Mechanically the car is fitted with a 1. 6 engine with twin Webber carbs, I am told it is fairly well modified but I do not know the exact specifications. Believed to have been a new engine when the car was restored, covered very few miles.
Runs and sounds good.
This Beetle has had many thousands of pounds lavished upon it, it’s no restoration project but does need an enthusiast to tinker with it as it’s been stored for sometime.

Over the years we have enjoyed restoring cars which has given us a solid background and embedded us in a network of enthusiasts. In the last few years our direction has changed slightly towards hunting out classics, from barn finds to turn key beauties.
