Here we have for sale my beautiful Saab 9-3 Convertible.
2007 Saab 9-3 Convertible in Aero specification, with the range-topping 2. 8 V6 Turbo engine, suitably specified in Jet Black Metallic paintwork with Black Hood and Black Leather Sport interior and official Griffin front bumper, washers and grilles upgrade. Just 44k miles. This may creep up as I do use it. Upgraded rare hirsch alloys wheels.
All handbooks and keys are present. 6 previous owners.
There is no ULEZ charge for this very usable car.
First registered in November 2007 as a Saab GB car, it was they who carried out the PDI and first service at 10934 miles in December 2008.
On transfer to its next owner, Toomey Saab in Essex took over care and servicing of the car punctually in November each year 2009-2013 at 10947, 13449, 17135 and 18174 miles.
The subsequent keeper paid to Saab Watford the sum of £1500 to upgrade the front bumper and grilles to ‘Aero Griffin’ specification using an approved Saab Griffin upgrade kit and thus the front-end taking on the subtly aggressive look of the Saab Griffin Aero design.
Further upgrades followed with the installation of factory-look front and rear parking sensors.
Meanwhile the meticulous service record was maintained with attention in December 2013, 2014 and 2017 at 19433, 21324 and 23495 miles.
All the servicing and MOT has been carried out locally by Bagnell Saab in my ownership.
A new DAB stereo have been installed. Spec as below. The original is with the car.
Air-Conditioning system has been re-gassed and a service in January 2020 at 32956 miles completed. The car has been serviced again at 33300 miles using Mobil 3000 oil.

The MK2 9-3 Convertible was undoubtedly Saab’s best drop-top to date and came with a reputation for solidity and available at prices considerably lower than an equivalent BMW or Audi.
The Saab also has a unique and very appealing look and can be driven in full automatic mode or with manual shifts.
In mid 2007, further alterations were announced to the exterior styling and now also included a 2. 8T V6 engine with 280bhp and Aero badging and specification, which topped the range and is as seen and offered here.
All 2007-8 MY models got a restyled front-end with a clamshell bonnet, a revised grille and LED light strips that sit across the top of the headlamp pod.
The Saab's hood is electrically operated and requires no unlatching or arcane procedures to operate, retracting in just 20 seconds, making it possible to drop the top at traffic lights without the potential embarrassment of being caught at half mast when the lights turn green. The hood operation is very slick indeed. Instead of flipping up, an aluminium tonneau cover raises itself and then slides back, making for a quicker operation and a better seal than a traditional hinged cover.
Offered here is the flagship Aero model, with super smooth 2. 8 Turbo V6 engine and 6-speed automatic transmission.
Well engineered and easily capable of 150K miles, the mere 44k miles on this example makes it truly exceptional and unrepeatable.
