For sale is my 2011 Harley Davidson Iron 883.
I am the second owner of the bike and it has covered just 8000 miles and comes with full dealer service history.
I bought the bike a year ago and set about improving it to make it a great bike to ride on our less than great British roads rather than going down the usual chop it and slam it custom route. Those bikes look great but are awful to ride anywhere other than on straight smooth urban roads, if you actually want a Harley that handles there are better ways to go. I know, I've been there (several times!)
So this bike has had the following improvements fitted -
Bitubo 13. 5” adjustable rear shocks
Hyperpro progressive fork spring kit
Pirelli MT60 tyres
Saddlemen Step Up seat
Mini Ape handlebars
Vance & Hines Straight Shot slip on pipes with added quiet baffles (comes with originals)
Mid Rise Sissy Bar
There are a few other cosmetic bits and pieces. The bike rides well and handles like a dream, this really is a great bike for any type of riding from the daily commute to blasting around ‘B’roads without constantly bottoming out and bouncing through the bends. I’ve had 6 Harleys, this is the smallest and also the nicest to ride by a mile. Unfortunately, as is a habit of mine, I have done all the work and have realised I’m not really going to use it and so have decided to sell it on. MOT’d until November 2025 and is ready to eat some miles.
Overall it is in great condition. There is a small amount of surface rust on the tip of the rear mudguard as is normal on these. It will come with the original seat, bars and standard exhausts. If you are looking for a genuine low mileage, well handling Sportster for everyday use this is it!
