This immaculate W140 LWB S400 has recently been imported from Japan. It is in truly exceptional condition throughout. It has covered a mere 142, 000 kilometres ( 89k miles ) from new. The metallic siver over grey paintwork and full black leather interior are in incredible condition for a 30 year old car. The car sits on a matched set of Continental tyres mounted on original Diamond Cut 16 inch Alloy Wheels.
The car has just undergone a comprehensive service including gearbox service carried out by a well respected Mercedes specialist. Distributor caps, Rotor arms and plug leads have also recently been replaced. Spare wheel is unused. Car is completely stock and original, with the exception of a Pioneer stereo system fitted in Japan. Original factory Becker stereo is included with car.
It is being sold with a years tax and a recent NCT test, which runs until October 2026.
The W140 series was designed by the late Bruno Sacco and was truly the last S Mercedes model that was built to the engineers' standard rather than the accountants costings. When these were models were launched, they were the most expensive executive saloon on the market due to the cost of the high-quality components.
This particular car really needs to be seen in the flesh to appreciate just how good it is. A potential concourse winning example.
I think that you'll have to go a long way to find a better example, and it is ready for the next owner to enjoy another 30 years of motoring.
