Description
1965 UK supplies Series 2A petrol in fantastic condition with extensive restoration work a couple of years ago and used sparingly since. Not seen rain since restoration and always garaged.
Photographic record of all work done as well as a thick folder of receipts.
The car was stripped down to its chassis and had a couple of outriggers fitted, along with a new, galvanised rear 1/ 4. It was then thoroughly cleaned to bare metal and treated inside and out. The rear tub was refurbished with new floor and crossmembers and it has new doors and new noses to the front wings. It is painted in its original colour of Limestone and the paint is flawless.
It also has new electrics, a very thoroughly rebuilt original distributor, coil and full wiring, plus a refurbished ignition switch.
In addition, it also benefits from a new Weber carb, new fuel tank and ethanol proof fuel lines, new starter switch, new steering ball joints, front axle rebuild, with new swivel joints and refurbed wheels and tubeless tyres.
I have also just fitted a brand new hood.
The car was originally supplied as a rare and desirable Carawagon. It has never let me down and drives as it should. Reliable and very well sorted, this Landie brings a smile to everyone. It starts first time everytime and drives brilliantly
